What is the ClearLift laser?
ClearLift is a non-ablative laser for improving skin quality that removes pigmentation spots, evens out complexion and stimulates collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. Unlike more aggressive lasers, ClearLift does not damage the surface layer of the skin, which is why the treatment requires no recovery time and can be performed throughout the year. The laser works beneath the skin's surface using Q-Switched Nd:YAG technology, where it stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen. As the collagen gradually regenerates, the skin becomes firmer, smoother and more even, while fine pigmentation and skin tone irregularities are reduced. ClearLift is part of the medical laser platform Alma Harmony, which allows precise customisation of the treatment depending on the skin type and the issue being treated. Therefore, it is used for various aesthetic and dermatological indications, with a high level of safety for the skin.
The choice of treatment depends on the type of blemishes. More information about the examination and therapy options can be found on the page treatment of hyperpigmentation and melasma.

How does the ClearLift laser work?
ClearLift laser emits short, powerful pulses of light that penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, while the surface layer remains completely intact. Exactly for this reason, the treatment does not damage the skin and requires no recovery period. The laser energy in the tissue is converted into controlled heat which stimulates the skin cells to initiate the process of producing new collagen.
The treatment is precisely controlled and designed to improve the firmness and quality of facial skin. Besides helping to tighten the skin, ClearLift can help reduce hyperpigmentation, even out skin tone and soften fine lines.
During the treatment, light energy acts in the deeper layers of the skin, where it stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. As these proteins are replenished, the skin structure becomes higher quality, elasticity improves, and the skin gains a fresher and more even appearance.
Initial improvements are often visible after just one treatment, while a more pronounced effect is usually achieved through a series of 3 to 6 treatments, when skin becomes visibly firmer, smoother and revitalised.

Preparation for the ClearLift treatment
Once a consultation with our doctors has taken place, which is mandatory before every treatment, the examination is scheduled. During the consultation, the doctor will inform the patient about the treatment itself and which areas need to be treated. In this way, we achieve the best results in accordance with expectations. The consultation will also determine the number of treatments required by the patient, and then the schedule for carrying out the treatments is decided. ClearLift treatment does not require any special preparation. As it is a painless and safe treatment, no form of mental or physical preparation is required from the patient.
What does the treatment look like?
Before using the ClearLift laser, the skin is thoroughly cleansed of make-up and other impurities. The laser parameters are set according to the indications being treated on the patient's skin. During the treatment, a specific region is treated with a targeted and controlled penetration depth. Patients do not feel any kind of discomfort or pain during the treatment. A mild tingling sensation is present, which is tolerable even on sensitive skin. Deep layers of the skin are activated in this way. The laser beam has directly activated the cells to begin the renewal process. Regeneration thus takes place, and the first mild effects of improved skin appearance are visible immediately after the treatment.
At intervals of three to four weeks, the following treatment is carried out. The number of treatments is determined based on the condition of the skin. If the skin is young, fewer treatments will be needed, whereas mature skin requires a series of up to six treatments. It is recommended to repeat the treatment once or twice a year in order to maintain the achieved results and keep the skin youthful and plump for longer.
Is the treatment safe?
The ClearLift laser has been tested and is completely safe for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin. Lasers from the Harmony XL medical platform are the result of years of research and are also approved by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration).
Is the treatment painful?
The ClearLift laser treatment is completely painless. During the treatment, the only thing you might feel is a mild stinging sensation at the moment the laser pulses. Patients report that the treatment is pleasant, and that they feel comfortable and at ease.

ClearLift laser treatment can be performed on its own, but it is often combined with other treatments to achieve better and longer-lasting results.
It pairs very well with biorevitalisation, or by nourishing the skin with skinbusters, preparations containing hyaluronic acid, amino acids and other active ingredients. Also, laser treatment can be performed in combination with with hyaluronic acid fillers, where the emphasis is on filling in wrinkles and contouring facial features.
The ClearLift laser works exceptionally well in combination with lasers from the Harmony XL platform. Two lasers stand out as being particularly compatible and desirable with the ClearLift laser: the ClearSkin laser and the NIR treatment.
ClearSkin it is intended for the treatment of stubborn, painful, subcutaneous acne. Since acne leaves behind scars and blemishes, ClearLift serves for additional regeneration and renewal of both young and mature skin. Together, these laser treatments will have a direct impact on uneven complexion, blemishes and scars, skin tightening and pronounced wrinkles.
On the other hand, NIR treatment It additionally promotes collagen production. Combined with the ClearLift treatment, it will boost the synthesis of new collagen deep within the skin, resulting in plump, revitalised and firm skin. The effects can last for up to two years without the need for a new series of treatments.
