What is NIR treatment?
NIR treatment rejuvenates, regenerates and repairs the skin in a natural and safe way. Laser beams give the face a refreshed, radiant look, while simultaneously influencing cell renewal to make the face look taut and well-cared-for. Although most commonly performed on the facial area, the treatment can be used on any part of the body, including the neck and décolletage. NIR skin tightening is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure that provides excellent results using light energy to stimulate collagen production. Light technology encourages the creation of collagen in the skin and strengthens its tone. The treatment process involves delivering light energy deep into the skin, while the surface layer of the skin remains intact. The light then stimulates the body's natural healing response and triggers the production of new collagen.

Are you a candidate for NIR skin tightening?
NIR skin tightening is intended for people who have mild to moderate skin laxity and want gradual tightening without aggressive procedures. It can also be used preventatively, for younger individuals who want to maintain skin quality and firmness, as well as for patients after the age of 30 when the first signs of loss of tone begin. The treatment contributes to better elasticity, a more even complexion and a fresher skin appearance.
What does the treatment look like?
The skin is first cleansed and the patient is given protective eyewear. Gel is applied, and the NIR handpiece is passed over the targeted area. During the treatment, a pleasant warmth is felt, without any pain or stinging. The infrared energy heats the deeper layers of the skin and stimulates the production of new collagen. The skin may look slightly tighter immediately, while the true effect develops over the next few weeks.
Recovery

How many treatments are needed?

Contraindications
