How to choose a laser treatment
The choice of treatment depends on the skin problem, the depth of the lesion and the time you have available for recovery. During the consultation, the doctor assesses your skin type, active lesions and the therapies you are using, and then suggests a single treatment or a combination of several. The same problem may require a different approach: acne scars might be treated with a CO2 laser in one person, and with subcision and Morpheus8 treatment in another.

| Light treatments | DYE VL, NIR | redness, broken capillaries, blemishes; skin refreshment and tightening | without interruption of activities |
| Radio waves | Morpheus8, Attiva | sagging facial, neck and body skin, double chin | Morpheus8 1 to 3 days; Attiva mild redness, swelling, or slight bruising |

When laser treatments are performed
CO2 and Erbium lasers, as well as 4D facial treatments, are carried out from October to the end of March. Following these treatments, the skin is more sensitive to the sun for a few weeks, so they are not performed in summer. DYE VL is planned for autumn, winter and early spring. ClearLift and NIR are carried out all year round, with sun protection. No laser treatment is performed on tanned skin.
Before the first treatment
- One month prior to ablative treatments, the skin must not be exposed to the sun or sunbeds.
- At the examination, it is important to state the therapies you are using, especially isotretinoin and medications that increase sensitivity to light.
- An active herpes outbreak or inflamed lesions at the treatment area will postpone the appointment.
- During pregnancy and breastfeeding, most of these treatments are not carried out.
Have you got a question?
Answers to frequently asked questions
Are laser treatments painful?
An anaesthetic cream is used for CO2 and Erbium laser and Morpheus8 treatments, and local anaesthetic for Attiva. Non-ablative lasers, Yellow laser and Ultraformer III usually do not require anaesthesia; a feeling of warmth or mild stinging is experienced.
How many treatments are needed?
It depends on the treatment and the problem. ClearSkin is most commonly done in a series of 4 to 6 treatments, Morpheus8 in a series of three, and Ultraformer III once or twice for the face. The exact plan is made after the examination.
Can the treatments be combined?
Yes. A CO2 laser and a ClearLift, a Morpheus8 and a yellow laser, or a laser with skin boosters, are often combined according to a plan made by a doctor.
Who performs the treatments?
Treatments are performed by doctors, with an examination before each procedure.
How much does laser treatment cost?
Prices by region can be found in price list for lasers and radiowaves and laser hair removal price list.
