Skin, hair and joint conditions
This section of the website contains descriptions of the skin, hair and joint conditions we treat at the Imedic Polyclinic in Belgrade – their causes, symptoms and treatment options.
A description does not replace an examination. If you are unsure what kind of lesion it is, the first step is a dermatological examination, where the doctor evaluates the lesion and suggests further diagnostics or therapy.
What do you notice?
Choose an area and find out more about the condition, examination and treatment options.
Skin conditions
Chronic and inflammatory skin conditions, facial redness, pigmentation and scars. For each condition, the appearance during an examination and the therapies and treatments we apply are described.
Skin lesions
Moles, warts and other skin growths. Before removal, a doctor assesses the type of lesion and chooses the method that suits it.
Hair and scalp
Hair loss and thinning. The cause is determined by scalp examination and trichoscopy, and treatment is planned according to the findings.
Joints
Joint conditions diagnosed and treated by a rheumatologist at the Imedic Polyclinic.
Not sure which check-up you need?
You do not need to know the name of the condition or change in advance. It is enough to book a dermatology appointment and describe your symptoms – the doctor will suggest the next steps after the examination.
