What is Emsculpt?
Emsculpt is a platform that non-invasively and non-surgically contours the body. During just a single 30-minute treatment, Emsculpt induces between 20,000 and 28,000 muscle contractions. It is precisely these contractions that trigger a metabolic reaction which strengthens and builds muscles. At the same time, fat deposits in the treated region are reduced, and muscle volume increases. Such contractions cannot be achieved through voluntary exercise, but Emsculpt does not replace workouts: it yields the best results as a supplement to regular activity and diet. The outcome is assessed after a series, through control measurements and photography.

How does it work?
Emsculpt is a non-invasive body shaping and toning procedure. It uses high-intensity electromagnetic technology – HIFEM, which continuously induces muscle contractions and strengthening.
This technology has been tested since 2018 in more than 30 scientific studies. This makes it the most widely researched body contouring technology. During the treatment, some of the fat cells in the targeted area are broken down and gradually removed by the body. Typically, four treatments are required for a single area, and Emsculpt can be performed throughout the year.
Emsculpt - all the benefits
The most important features of Emsculpt treatment:
- whilst lying down, Emsculpt strengthens and tones muscles and reduces fat deposits;
- the treatment is non-invasive, non-surgical, and requires no recovery period;
- suitable for different regions of the body;
- it lasts a short time - just 30 minutes;
- The result is maintained with physical activity, stable weight and, if necessary, maintenance treatments.
Who is the ideal candidate?
Emsculpt is intended for people who want to shape and tone the body. This procedure is suitable for all skin types and can be used on targeted areas. Emsculpt is not a weight loss method: in cases of significant excess weight, a doctor will assess during an examination whether it is a reasonable choice and what should precede the treatment. No treatment, nor indeed training, yields good results unless you watch your diet. As the saying goes, the body is built in the kitchen and shaped through training. It is essential to achieve an optimal daily intake of calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Furthermore, meals should be varied and nutritionally rich.
Which regions does Emsculpt treat?
A proper diet, a healthy lifestyle, walking and workouts should be an integral part of our daily routine. However, sometimes we need help to further shape and tone certain parts of the body. Emsculpt can be applied to all critical regions:
- stomach;
- thighs, front and inner side;
- buttocks;
- arms - upper arms;
- calves.
The stomach is certainly a critical point for many women, but also for men. We want a flat stomach, or even abs, the so-called “six pack”, why not? Persistent training and hundreds of sit-ups will yield results, but sometimes we simply do not have the time for all of that. Emsculpt will help us to nicely shape and tone our abdominal muscles. And find out all about other treatments that tighten the stomach and remove excess skin from the stomach here.
Equally important for a good appearance is certainly the backside, that is, the gluteus muscle. We want it to be shaped, firm and lifted, and a few Emsculpt treatments will easily achieve that. Other treatments are also available in our polyclinic for buttock lift.
Let's also mention the arms, or rather the upper arms. Most of us have an issue with sagging skin in this region. After Emsculpt nicely shapes and tightens the arms, we can also effectively perform upper arm skin tightening.
What results can you expect?

Do you have any questions?
Answers to frequently asked questions
What does an Emsculpt treatment look like?
During the treatment, you lie in a relaxed position while the Emsculpt applicator is placed on the area being treated. After adjusting the parameters, the treatment begins and lasts for about 30 minutes. During this time, strong, repeated muscle contractions occur - up to 28,000 contractions can be induced in a single treatment. Upon completion of the treatment, you can immediately return to your daily activities, with no need for recovery time.
Is any preparation required for the treatment?
No special preparation is required. A sufficient fluid intake is recommended before and after the treatment to keep the body hydrated and to facilitate the natural elimination of fat tissue breakdown products through the lymphatic system.
Is the treatment painful?
During the treatment, strong muscle contractions, pressure and mild warming are felt. Although the sensation is intense, the treatment is generally not described as painful. Over the following days, mild muscle soreness is possible, similar to that after a workout.
How many treatments are needed?
One treatment is not enough to achieve optimal results. Most commonly, a series of 4 treatments per area is recommended, once to twice a week, according to a plan determined by a physician. The final results develop gradually and are usually visible about three months after the last treatment.
Emsculpt and other treatments
To achieve even better results, Emsculpt can be combined with other effective body-tightening treatments.
Emsculpt and Alma Primex
We can combine these two treatments to achieve even more effective and visible results more quickly. Alma Primex combines two technologies: ultrasound waves and radiofrequency waves. The former act on fatty tissue, while the latter heat the skin layers, targeting existing collagen and elastin.
New collagen is produced and the skin becomes firmer and more elastic. It is used to treat fat deposits on the hips, abdomen, and inner thighs. Find out everything about the Alma PrimeX procedure on this link.
Emsculpt and Shockwave therapy
If cellulite is present on the treated region, it can be additionally treated with various anti-cellulite treatments. An excellent way to eliminate cellulite from the buttocks or thighs is by using Shockwave therapy. The therapy works on the principle of acoustic shockwaves.
A large amount of energy is transferred in a short time, with the aim of breaking down accumulated deposits. The formation of new blood vessels is accelerated, which helps to break down cellulite deposits. The skin is tightened, and cellulite is less visible. Therefore, after we shape the glutes with the Emsculpt treatment, if necessary, we will remove cellulite with Shockwave therapy. Find out all about Shockwave therapy here.
